The AtomX CAST Desktop App provides you with direct control of the CAST from your computer, the app can run on both a Windows and MacOS computer. |
If you are new to the AtomX CAST you will find the guide on setting up with either a Ninja V or Ninja V+ with the Atom X CAST here: https://www.atomos.com/product-support select Ninja and then Atom X Cast in the menu on the left.
Part of this setup process is to connect the Atom X CAST to your computer so you can stream the content you are creating, this is also required for the CAST Desktop App to work correctly.
When you open the app it opens on the Switcher page described below, the top panel has two buttons for LIVE and RECord along with a status indicating how much space remains on the disk.
The Atom X CAST device and the CAST Desktop App mirror each other, so a change you make on one is mirrored on the other.

Tap on the LIVE button on either the device or the App and both LIVE buttons will turn red to indicate you have enabled LIVE. You will need to connect to some streaming software to begin transmitting. Tap on the RECord button on either the device or the App and the device will begin to recording and both RECord buttons will indicate recording is in progress. |
