ATOMOS connected products allow you to live stream content to online platforms through your Atomos Cloud Studio account at atomos.cloud. Destinations can be set as Twitch, YouTube Live, Facebook Live and Custom RTMP.
The Custom RTMP destination allows you to connect and stream to destinations other than the platforms listed in the box below. You can add platforms that support RTMP stream publishing and provides an RTMP URL and Streaming Key.
Not all RTMP destinations are supported. If you find that there are other destinations that are working, please contact our support team to let us know. We will conduct tests and consider adding them to the options.
Due to the large quantity of streaming and social media platforms that accept custom RTMP ingestion for live streaming, we haven't been able to test every available option.
Below are some guidelines on setting a custom RTMP destination on the platforms we've tested and qualified as working.
First Log into your atomos.cloud account
1. Log into atomos.cloud and click on the ‘+’ symbol at Add Destination for the device you want to stream from.
2. Select Custom RTMP from the box that appears.
3. Enter a name for the destination in the description field.
4. The platform specific guidelines below will guide you to complete the remaining fields. Once completed, click on Done.
5. Click the toggle switch for the destination you just created to switch it On.
6. The screen on your device will update to display a screen similar to this

Setting Vimeo Live as a custom RTMP destination
These steps follow the process for users without a paid Vimeo streaming account. It starts a free trial of the service. More information on the plans can be viewed here:

Follow the steps above to log into your atomos.cloud account. Navigate to vimeo.com and log in or create an account.

Click on Live Events in the side panel

Click on Start Free Demo on the page that opens.

Click on 'Manage production' in the top right corner of the page that opens.

Select 'Stream via RTMP' from the drop-down menu.

Copy the RTMP URL by clicking on the copy icon next to the URL

Switch to atomos.cloud and Past the URL into the RTMP URL field.

Switch back to the vimeo page in your browser, and copy the Stream Key. Clicking on the blue copy icon next to the Stream Key will copy it to your clipboard.

Switch back to atomos.cloud and paste the Stream Key into the Stream Key field.

Then click DONE and the stream should be switched on. If it is not, toggle the switch to On.

Back on the Vimeo page, toggle 'Preview Stream' to On.

On the Atomos device, tap on the LIVE icon in the top left corner of the display.

You will be asked if you are ready to start live streaming. Tap on Confirm to proceed.

The LIVE icon will turn yellow to indicate that your device has begun to connect.

The LIVE icon will turn red once the stream has been acknowledged by the server. This indicates that you are currently live streaming.

On the Vimeo page, you will see a low res preview of your image. Click on Event Setup to return to the event page or click on the Go Live button to begin live streaming.

The LIVE icon will appear at the top of the screen with a red dot to confirm that you are streaming. The connection status is also displayed. To end the live streamon Vimeo, click on End Event.

Tap the red LIVE icon on the display of your device to stop live streaming. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Tap Confirm to proceed.

Your device will stop streaming, and the LIVE button will turn white to indicate that you are no longer streaming.
If the input signal is lost whilst streaming, you may lose the connection to Vimeo. If the connection is not re-established, you may need to remove the destination and follow the steps above to reconnect. To remove a destination, click the three dots next to the destination toggle and click on Remove Destination.
Setting Meridix as a custom RTMP destination
Follow the steps at the top of the page to log into your atomos.cloud account. Then log into meridix.com or create an account at manager.meridix.com/login
1. Navigate to this URL manager.meridix.com/stream/keys to obtain the Stream URL and Stream Key
2. Switch to atomos.cloud and type the name Meridix in the description field. Copy and paste both the Server URL and Stream Key from the Meridix web page into the corresponding fields in the custom RTMP destination and tap DONE.
3. Tap the switch to turn on the stream you just created.
4. On the Atomos device, tap on the LIVE icon in the top left corner of the display.
5. You will be asked if you are ready to start live streaming. Tap on Confirm to proceed. 
6. The LIVE icon will turn yellow to indicate that your device has begun to connect.
7. The LIVE icon will turn red once the stream has been acknowledged by the server. This indicates that you are currently live streaming.
5. Tap on Live Streaming on the Meridix Dashboard, then select your event type and title and tap the Start Event button.
6. On the event page, tap on Live Monitor.
7. The feed will be displayed.
8. open a new browser with the 'Share' URL and see the full stream.
9. When you have finished streaming, ensure that you end the stream on the Meridix event page by tapping End Event.
10. Tap the red LIVE icon on the display of your device to stop live streaming. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Tap Confirm to proceed.
11. Your device will stop streaming, and the LIVE button will turn white to indicate that you are no longer streaming.
Setting Wowza as a custom RTMP destination
Before proceeding, ensure that you have followed the steps at the top of the page to log into your atomos.cloud account.
1. Log into Wowza.com or create an account at wowza.com/free-trial
2. Navigate to the the Wowza Video Dashboard or use this link video.wowza.com/en/manage
3. Tap on Add Live Stream in the side pane.
4. Add a name for your stream
5. Click on the drop-down menu to select the location closest to your camera or encoder for the best performance. Then tap next
6. Select Other RTMP in the next screen
7. Scroll down to select 'Push to a stream source'
8. Scroll further down to select Aspect ratio 16:9 1920 x 1080, and then click on Next at the bottom of the page.
9. In the next page, click to select Responsive at 'What is the width of your player? Then tap next.
10. On the next page, set the Hosted Page Settings to suit your needs. Then tap next.
11. Review the selected Settings, and tap Finish.
12. Wowza now configures your stream.
13. Scroll down to the Stream Information and copy the stream RTMP URL from Primary Server.
14. Switch to atomos.cloud and type a name for the stream in the description field. Paste the RTMP URL into the RTMP URL field.
15. Switch back to Wowza and copy the Stream name
16. Switch to atomos.cloud and paste the Stream Name into the Streaming Key field. Tap on DONE.
17. Click on the toggle to enable the stream you just created.
18. On the Atomos device, tap on the LIVE icon in the top left corner of the display.
19. You will be asked if you are ready to start live streaming. Tap on Confirm to proceed.
20. The LIVE icon will turn yellow to indicate that your device has begun to connect.
21. The LIVE icon will turn red once the stream has been acknowledged by the server. This indicates that you are currently live streaming.
22. Switch to Wowza in the browser and click the 'Start Live Stream' button. A message will advise that Wowza Video is starting the live stream.
It can take a few minutes for your content to appear in the preview window.
23. Switch to the Playback tab above the preview window and press the play button to view the stream in full quality.
24. Tap the red LIVE button on your device to stop streaming.
You will be asked to confirm your decision. Tap Confirm to proceed.
Your device will stop streaming, and the LIVE button will turn white to indicate that you are no longer streaming.
25. Click on the 'Stop Live Stream' button on the Wowza page to end the transmission.
Setting CDN77 as a custom RTMP destination
Before proceeding, follow the steps at the top of the page to log into your atomos.cloud account.
1. Create an account at cdn77.com by clicking on the Get Started button and following the prompts. Alternatively, log into your existing account.
2. Each stream is set up by the support staff at CDN77, so you will either need to email support@cdn77.com or use the live chat to request a streaming channel.
3. Once set up, it will appear on the main menu under Stream Resources
4. Scroll down to the RTMP entry Point and copy the Stream URL
5. Switch to atomos.cloud and add a name for the new custom RTMP stream in the Description field. Paste the Stream URL into the RTMP URL field. Return to the CDN77 web page and copy the Stream Key. Paste it into the Streaming Key field in the streaming destination box. Click on DONE.
6. On the Atomos device, tap on the LIVE icon in the top left corner of the display.
7. You will be asked if you are ready to start live streaming. Tap on Confirm to proceed.
8. The LIVE icon will turn yellow to indicate that your device has begun to connect.
9. The LIVE icon will turn red once the stream has been acknowledged by the server. This indicates that you are currently live streaming.
10. In atomos.cloud click the toggle switch on the stream you just created to turn it on.
11. To view the stream you will need to start a player, VLC for example. VLC can be downloaded here: videolan.org/vlc/
12. Switch back to the CDN77 website and scroll down to the Playback URL's, for VLC copy the HLS URL
13. In VLC, click on the File menu and select Open Network. Paste the URL into the URL Field and tap open
14. Your stream will open in the player.
15. Tap the red LIVE button on the screen of your device to stop streaming.
16. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Tap Confirm to proceed.
17. Your device will stop streaming, and the LIVE button will turn white to indicate that you are no longer streaming.
18. To close the stream on the Stream Resources page, tap Options and then Delete Stream
Setting Rumble as a custom RTMP destination
1. Before proceeding, follow the steps at the top of the page to log into your atomos.cloud account.
2. Create an account at rumble.com by clicking on Sign In at the top of the web page, and following the prompts. Alternatively, log in to your existing account.
3. Click on the camera icon in the top right corner of the screen, and select Go Live.
4. Click on the Start Live Streaming button, below the search bar.
5. Drag and drop a video to the select a placeholder video box. The video can be up to 60 seconds long, and will be looped before the stream starts.
6. Complete the required Stream info fields, and click the Next button.
7. Complete the license and other options on the new page and click the Submit button.
8. The Live Stream Ready page that appears, presents the URLs for viewing your stream. Copy the URL that best fits your needs.
9. Click the Get Streamer Configuration button
10. Copy the Stream URL from the information box that appears.
11. Switch to atomos.cloud and add a name for the new custom RTMP stream in the Description field. Paste the Stream URL into the RTMP URL field. Return to the Rumble web page and copy the Stream Key. Paste it into the Streaming Key field in the streaming destination box. Click on DONE.
12. On the Atomos device, tap on the LIVE icon in the top left corner of the display.
13. You will be asked if you are ready to start live streaming. Tap on Confirm to proceed.
14. The LIVE icon will turn yellow to indicate that your device has begun to connect.
15. The LIVE icon will turn red once the stream has been acknowledged by the server. This indicates that you are currently live streaming.
16. Switch back to the Rumble website and view the stream on one of the URL's for viewing your stream.
17. When you have completed the stream Tap the End Stream button on the Live Stream Ready page.
18. Tap the red LIVE icon on the display of your device to stop live streaming. You will be asked to confirm your decision. Tap Confirm to proceed.
19. Your device will stop streaming, and the LIVE button will turn white to indicate that you are no longer streaming.
