The majority of Nikon cameras have Live View mode (or LV on the physical button), a feature that switches between using the monitor and viewfinder. By default there is a timer setting on the camera that switches from Live View mode back to the viewfinder, but when shooting video using Atomos product we often want long record times and don't want this switch (which disrupts recording) from happening.
Thankfully we can change these settings. Press menu, and navigate to the Custom setting menu (denoted by a pencil), go to Timers/AE lock, then to Monitor off delay and finally Live View. In this menu change the timer settings to No limit. Now you can record continuously without interruption.
