The Input Menu provides an overview of the input signal properties (top left).
Beyond that, the top-row options also allow you to disable the Timecode display, as well as turning on the Camera Status display (useful in Camera Control mode)
In the second row, you can specify the color properties of your camera’s Log output signal.
First, turn on Log/HDR, and then go through the subsequent options to match your camera’s Log output for accurate color processing on the Shinobi II.
Example: When you’re shooting Sony S-Log3, in S-Gamut on a Sony A7S III, these parameters should be defined accordingly in the Shinobi II’s Log/HDR section.
The Legalize option is turned off by default, and should only be used in specific workflows. Leave it off when monitoring Log Signals in the HDR HLG and PQ monitoring modes, and turn it on when monitoring Log Signals SDR LUTs in SDR workflows. You can find out more about the monitoring modes in the separate article on them.
