The AtomX CAST allows users to load up to 8 PNG graphics to its media slots. You can assign these PNG graphics to 7 anchor positions within the four layout presets.
To make the process of creating custom overlay graphics as simple as possible, we're providing a PSD template which can be used with Adobe Photoshop.
Base Template
Resolution: 1920 x 1080 px
The base template simulates the Full-Screen image of the Program Stream that the graphics will be applied to. Within the PSD file, you'll find differently sized presets, which you can customize.
The differently styled presets are already appropriately sized and placed on anchor point locations. They don't need to get resized or cropped on export.
Exporting
Disable the background and guide layers before you proceed to export the overlay graphic.
Export the overlay graphic as a PNG via the Export menu. Make sure that Transparency is enabled and uncheck all color space transformation options.
After saving your custom overlay graphic as a PNG, put it on your SSD and load it into your presets via the Overlays menu.
Note: Due to the overlay graphics being positioned on anchor point locations in the template, you should only assign them to the nearest anchor point available in the Overlays menu.
Example 1: The Lower Thirds graphic in the bottom left corner of the canvas needs to be attached to the bottom left anchor point.
Example 2: The welcome message graphic covering most of the screen needs to be attached to the anchor point in the center.
