The Ethernet menu tab provides settings for connecting your device to a network via Ethernet, so that you can connect to Atomos Cloud Services.
How to connect to an Ethernet network
Plug an Ethernet cable from your network into the Ethernet connector on your SHOGUN CONNECT.
Navigate to the Ethernet Menu page on your SHOGUN CONNECT.
Tap on IP Configure to cycle through DHCP and Static. Select DHCP to configure the network connection details automatically. Your router will then automatically populate the DNS, IP address and Subnet Mask fields.
To use DHCP, your network needs to have DHCP enabled, so that it can automatically assign an IP address.
If you prefer to manually configure the network, select Static at IP Configure. Tap in one of the empty fields and a keyboard will appear so that you can enter the IP address, Subnet Mask and Router. Tap Confirm once you have finished entering these details.
Once you have connected to an Ethernet network, a green circle and the word Connected will be displayed at Ethernet and the device MAC address will also be displayed. The Ethernet icon in the Information bar will also turn white to indicate that your device is currently connected to an Ethernet network.
The Connect Menu page will update with 'Connected' at Network and a green circle. For information on connecting to Atomos Cloud, refer to CONNECT MODE
