With the release of AtomOS 10.51, we have added a new option to the Input Menu called Remote Mode, which is set to Camera Controls by default after installing the update. What this does is to enable you to control Z CAM E2 cameras right from the Ninja V's touchscreen, by connecting our USB-C to Serial cable between the camera and the Ninja.
Now, if you're trying to use a camera from any other manufacturer with your Ninja V this setting can be ignored. To disable it, just tap Camera Controls once. This switches the Remote Mode back to Calibration/LANC, which was the previous default setting.
What can happen now if you didn't switch to Calibration/LANC, is that you've previously dialed in all your settings for triggering the Ninja V through your camera's record button, but once you performed the update, triggering simply doesn't work anymore.
This is because Z CAM's use a different triggering protocol than other cameras, so you need to switch back to Calibration/LANC in order for your previous settings to take effect again.
